You tell me!

Free Will...does this exsist? Are we merely oblivious that we are not in control of our actions, or do we have free will? Well I am one that beleives we as individuals have free will, and therefore we are responsible for our actions, and in some cases we are punished because of the free will of someone else. If you are a christian and beleive in God, let me ask you a question. You see I already know how I feel about this matter but I have ran into others whom in my opinion contridict themselves when they say they have free will...BUT! Okay so here is an example...Given God is who he says he is, he can not lie, and he loves us enough that he from the start gave us all free will to choose what we may. If you beleive that then in a situation where there is someone who is driving drunk and they hit someone else who was not doing anything wrong, but was simply driving home to his/her family after work, yet they suffer due to someone else's free will...could God have stopped the accident? Remember now whether you beleive as a Christian or not just think about this for a moment! Facts being facts and God is not a man that he should lie, gives us humans free will and others are hurt by them sometimes how is it that God takes the blame? It wasnt God who was drinking and driving? It wasnt God who created an accident where a bad thing happened to a good person! Yet some say "but he could have prevented it" "God could have stopped it"! Well how so...? If we agree that God has given us all the power to choose, shouldnt we as individuals take the blame for our own ignorance? If God can not lie, and he has given each one of us free will...wouldnt he be going against his word and taking our free will from us if he stopped every accident or every bad thing that ever happens to anyone? Isnt his hands tied? Some say "Oh no God's hands are never tied", I however disagree even in the word it talks about how Jesus was "unable" to do somethings to perform some miracles that he longed for his people to have due to "THEIR...the PEOPLES....UNBELIEF! So if Jesus himself said...which he did that he was unable to perform many miracles due to the lack of unbelief in his hometown, then doesnt that sound like the people had more than something to do with the lack of healing Jesus could have brough, or the gifts and blessings he so desired them to have? It wasnt that he just didnt want to bless or comfort, or even keep his people safe...it was the fact that the people chose to be disobedient and chose not to beleive him. With that being said one has to come to a realization that either: Yes God's hands are never tied and he could stop all the bad things in this world yet chooses not to...or You beleive God gave us all free will and because we are imperfect people and make bad decisions sometimes we hurt others in the midst of hurting ourselves. We live in an imperfect world and we all will make mistakes in this life! So if you think that we can have free will and yet not in a sense: "cause God's hands to be tied" I would love to hear your rebuttle! I would also love for anyone who agrees or disagrees and simply wants to say so...to comment on this post and let me hear how this has stirred your mind and what questions maybe developed because of it! Thanks for reading my first blog here blogger...there is sooo much more to come!

Saying for today: If you have never been hurt...you can never be healed!
